About Kiki!

Born and raised in Queens, Kiki Sanchez is a costume designer and wardrober based in New York City. Since childhood, she has loved playing dress up and watching live entertainment. She grew up studying performing arts before discovering a passion for working behind the scenes.
She began studying theatre in 2019 at Borough Of Manhattan College, receiving her Associates degree in 2021. In 2022, she began working towards receiving a B.F.A. in Costume Design and Technology at Marymount Manhattan College, with a set graduation date in 2025.

During their time at Marymount, Kiki has worked on several mainstage shows acting as assistant designer, stitcher, and wardrobe supervisor. During the fall season of 2024, she had the opportunity to design costumes for a Marymount Manhattan Play On club production of The Mannequin

With a background in studying vocal performance and music, she has grown attuned to understanding performers' needs and is especially inspired to work on productions centered around music.  She is passionate about storytelling through visual details and getting to know a character inside out. She enjoys new works, re-tellings of classic stories, fantasy, and horror productions. She values and hopes to create art that showcases diversity and representation.

Though she has an affinity for live entertainment, Kiki hopes for opportunities to work in various types of media, helping tell stories through design.
